S2S Payments overview

S2S Payments lets you create, collect, and verify payments directly against Reeple’s server-to-server API — as opposed to the client-side checkout SDK covered elsewhere in these docs. Payment orders created through any of these endpoints share a common reference format (e.g. PSH_7A1B2C3D4E) that you use to track and verify them.

Authentication

These endpoints send your dashboard public key (pk_live_.../pk_test_...) in a public-key header — not the secret-key api-key scheme used by the rest of this API reference. See Authentication for how the rest of the API differs.

Choosing a flow

Use Create a hosted checkout link when you want the fastest integration with reduced PCI scope — Reeple’s hosted page handles card entry, OTP, and 3DS.
Use Initiate a payment order followed by Charge a card (S2S) when you need a fully embedded card form and are prepared to encrypt card data yourself.
